About the store

The Southside Boutique is a second-hand store where we raise money for our homeless shelter and specific assistance.  (At our homeless shelter we feed the hungry and offer safe, comfortable temporary housing for families.  Our specific assistance program helps Hays County families pay their rent, utilities, buy meds and other necessities.)  We sell donated goods at the store as well as new merchandise we buy from liquidators.

What & when to donate

We accept gently used clothing, shoes, jewelry, accessories, furniture, appliances, electronics, books, CD's, bedding, linens, dishware, artwork, toys, kids items, knick-knacks and just about everything there is!!!  You can drop off donations anytime we're open, from Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm.  Just pull up to the back by the Cheatham Warehouse entrance and a volunteer will help you unload your donations.  Donations receipts are available at the store also.

Donation pickups

If you have furniture or large electronics you'd like to donate but don't have a truck to haul them with, we'd gladly schedule a time time pick up the items.  Call our offices at (512) 392-6694 extension 0 and speak with our administrative assistant about scheduling a donation pickup.
